Our Vision

Journey of a Lifetime (JOL) envisions a day when all people created in the image of God are recognized as persons and treated with dignity and respect and their lives celebrated from womb to tomb; that parents who have received a life-limiting or other adverse perinatal diagnosis are supported and have their parental agency recognized and honored; that people and caregivers facing late stage / terminal or any other end-of-life care and decisions are educated and supported; and that the medical, religious, and pro-life communities utilize a trauma informed approach and strategies, with respect to perinatal palliative care and end-of-life care, and refrain from the use of inflammatory “lethal” language.

Our Mission

The mission of Journey of a Lifetime (JOL) is to support, equip, and empower parents who have received a life-limiting or other adverse perinatal diagnosis to advocate for the life, health and well-being of their baby and to serve as a liaison for life-affirming case management care coordination throughout pregnancy and up until one year after birth.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Journey of a Lifetime (JOL) is to improve health and quality of life for others; to sustain; to preserve, and to defend life; educate and advocate for the care, welfare and well-being of others; and the advancement of public interest on the community, local, state, and national level for issues related to the sanctity of human life from fertilization to natural death. Promoting Godly lifestyles, relationships and family structures, recognizing the intrinsic value of human life created in the image of God rooted in Christian Biblical teachings and the Hippocratic Oath.
